Nearly every revival had a connection to a younger generation, starting in Acts 2 with the young disciples of Jesus. And from young Evan Roberts and the Welsh Revival in Wales in the early 20th century, to the Jesus Movement in America in the 1970’s, a young generation was at the forefront. In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions; your old men will dream dreams (Acts 2:17).
A young generation among us is presently using the language of their generation: social media and film, to speak to their peers. This past summer, a young generation in our community filmed a new movie: STEADFAST, written and directed by a 17 year-old film director. The language of the youths has an impact of drawing the peer youth groups to Christ. Youths to be empowered to work for Christ!

Why?
The only good thing about the ‘youth’ is that they are the reason the glorious character Shrek (full script http://www.imsdb.com/scripts/Shrek.html) exists. Bless them for this one thing!
When I think of the youth only negative things come to mind, despite the fact they are our future. Who cares about the future? It doesnt exist yet!
People will troll me, they will say I am wrong because I am too old fashioned, but I am not out of touch, it is the children who are wrong.

The youth can barley communicate effectivley without those newfandangled high-filuten iPhones.
Why, just last week I heard an entire group of rambumctious youths at a local Iraqi food court speak using ‘Internet slang’, they spoke of ’emojis’ and kept saying how they ‘loled’.
What kind of youthful madness is this?
I fear for our future. I bet the few youths that pray use their iPhones to ‘text’ prayers somehow.
Disgrace.
