The older I get, the fewer answers I have for people. If you knew me forty-five or fifty years ago, I had a lot of answers. I had answers and charts about end times and eschatology and all kinds of things that I do not even believe today. But the older I have gotten, the more I have come to see that only two things are really worth handing someone who asks me for help. If they ask, I will tell them what Scripture says — you never go wrong with Scripture (II Tim. 3:16-17) . And I will simply tell them my story about what God did with me in a similar situation. Beyond that, everyone has to hear from God for themselves. If you can talk somebody into something, someone else will talk them out of it.
