Every season of our lives requires special grace from God for that specific season. God is giving each of us more grace, more divine favor, for this season of our lives (James 4:6). Charles Spurgeon once said: “With great perseverance the snail finally reached the ark.” Special grace from the Lord is available for all of us to persevere. However, there may be times in our lives when we need to experience a necessary ending. Let’s be sure the Lord is leading us in this way, and that we are not quitting because we found it is too hard for us to persevere. Paul ministered to the Jews first, but later he focused his ministry on the Gentiles. He did not quit. He just changed his focus. Sometimes, we must do the same.
