Life comes in seasons. Let’s embrace our present season and receive grace for it. It will not last forever. “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…He has made everything beautiful in its time (Ecc. 3:1,11). We must embrace the present season of our lives, and realize it is just a season. We have good seasons of life and we have difficult seasons. If you are presently in a difficult season, God has a plan and a purpose to make your life beautiful and amazing. It will happen in His time. God has us in His process. We seldom see the scope of God’s work from beginning to end. We are too short sighted. I once heard the story of a boy watching a parade from a hole in a fence. He only saw a small part of the parade. But when he had the opportunity to get into a helicopter and fly above the city, he saw the entire parade! God sees it all, but we only see one season of life at a time. During difficult times in life, when we struggle with health, money, friends, singleness or marriage, family or job, we may wonder what is going on. But God has us in His process and He is preparing us for our next season.
