Some things that happen in our lives are for a reason. But sometimes, things just happen. Ecclesiastes 11:3 tells us: “If clouds are full of water, they pour rain upon the earth. Whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where it falls, there will it lie.”
If clouds are full of water, they pour rain upon the earth. It rains because the clouds are filled with water. And many things that happen in our lives are allowed to happen for a purpose. However, everything that happens to us is not necessarily from God, even though He will use these difficult situations in our lives to make us more like Him. Remember, “all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).
In the second part of the same verse, Ecclesiastes tells us; “whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where it falls, there will it lie.” Some things in life just happen and we must be careful not to fall into the trap of trying to figure every little detail out. Sometimes the tree just fell. No reason. It just fell. Sometimes we need to just let the tree lie right where it is, and go on! Stop trying to figure everything out! Refuse further introspection and stop asking why. There may not be an answer to that “why” question you are asking.
Just remember, as you face each difficult situation in life, never forget your Heavenly Father’s words of affirmation to you: “You are my beloved son or daughter, and I am pleased with you!” (Matt. 3:17, I John 3:1)

Very well stated. Thank you. Sometimes I wish more believers would just live life and roll with the punches, instead of considering every occurrence a message from heaven. Since it rains on the just and the unjust, we’re all going to get wet occasionally. So, instead of always asking God why it’s raining, just pack your umbrella.
Those called in the Fathers name, will always be lead by the holy spirit and will always teach what comes from the Load. They will never be mislead by things of this dark world.
This is really good, Larry. It is so important that we keep perspective and not ‘waste’ too much time trying to unnecessary answers.
