The American election is over. Now is the time for each of us to obey the admonition we read in I Tim. 2:2-4: “Pray…for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.”
Our God’s desire is that everyone will come to know Him personally (John 17:3). Praying for leaders in government helps to prepare the way for a spiritual awakening in our nation. We desperately need a revival in America. And for my friends in other nations, pray for your leaders during this strategic time in history. Remember, “The Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.” (Matt. 24:14)
And let’s pray for each other and for the church in this hour, to renew in our hearts our biblical mandate to “go into all the world and make disciples” as we give ourselves to the king and His kingdom. (Matt. 28:19)

Hello Larry.
I personally believe that the election may distract us from what really matters. if i had to nomintae someone for preident it would either have been Desmond Tutu or Kenneth Bone. I beleieve that the only person that we should follow is jesus.
great blog,
Papa Bless
Jack :)
Too true Larry, the election is indeed over, leaving Donald J. Trump as president. And Larry, if you don’t mind me asking, could you please enlighten us on your thoughts on Trump?
Personally speaking, I think he’s a bit mad in the head, and I can’t say i’m too optomistic. Though, In the words of the great and legendary Desmond Tutu, “God can only smile, because only God can know what is coming next.” Hopefully he smiles. Hopefully…
Nyway, I’m aware this isn’t a political blog, so i’ll cut it short. As you say Larry, all we can do is pray and hope for our leaders.
As always Larry, great post.
With much love, George

ya boy
Ainsley
What a nice post Ainsley :)
I’ve never actually thought of much that way, and you are so right. Now that the election is over I just want to find other things in life like a tender steak. I need to oil up the metaphorical meat and give it a ‘good ol rub’, as you put it
I need to find other things to take my mind off the stress of my life, trying my hardest to be like the fig tree, as this is not easy. It is a challenge for the mind body and soul. I fear I will just fail agian next year, but I will trust in what Larry says and try to improve.

I admire you so much Cuan
Don’t stop trying to be the fig tree, we all have a purpose in life, and that may just be yours :)
With love, George
