I was on a flight to Brazil 25 years ago browsing through the airline magazine when my eyes riveted on a short article with four questions. These questions jumped off the page and were life-changing for me. I have continued to ask myself on a regular basis these four questions, sometimes called “The Four Killer Questions.”

  1. What am I doing that doesn’t need to be done?
  2. What am I doing that could be done by somebody else?
  3. What am I doing that only I can do?
  4. What should I be doing that I am not?

The Bible instructs us to examine ourselves (II Cor.13:5). When I ask myself these four questions, I find clarity and fresh focus for my life again and again. May you experience the same.
