So simple, but so powerful!

Don’t be afraid to talk to yourself. I talk to myself all the time. The Bible says David talked to himself; he “encouraged himself in the Lord” (1 Samuel 30:6 KJV). Another time, in Psalms 103:1, we see David talking to himself, “Praise the Lord, O my soul; and all my inmost being, praise his holy name!” We should follow his example. I encourage you to get up in the morning and speak the truth to yourself, “I am righteous through faith in Jesus Christ. I am a man or woman of God. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me today” (Phil. 4:13). So simple, but so powerful!
