Four Powerful Words

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (Prov. 3:5-6). I love this verse! The word “all” means all. If we want divine guidance in our life, we must acknowledge Him again and again. No matter what our circumstances look like at the moment, if we really surrender them to the Lord, we can rest in the assurance that God is in charge and He knows exactly what we need. Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matt. 11:28). Telling God the four words, “Lord, I trust you,” is powerful and life-changing!
