One step at a time

The Lord is faithful, and He will direct our path one step at a time. Let’s tune our ears to hear His voice without preconceived ideas as to how He will speak. Isaiah 30:21 says, “Your ears will hear a word behind you, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right or to the left.”  Oswald Chambers said, “Jesus rarely comes where we expect Him; He appears where we least expect Him. . . . The only way a servant can remain true to God is to be ready for the Lord’s surprise visits. This readiness is expecting Jesus Christ at every turn.” Expect the unexpected. Call it what you will—a surprise, a suddenly, a “but God.” Just know that at times, God may speak in surprising, dramatic and unpredictable ways!
