Sometimes I’m tempted to feel like it’s okay to worry as we live in our present environment of uncertainty. But COVID-19 and the unrest in our nations has not taken God by surprise. He is still on the throne!

He exhorts us to “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and … not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own (Matt. 6:33-34).” God gives us His grace one day at a time!

We are part of God’s unshakeable kingdom! Paul the apostle encourages us, “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Rom. 14:17). Let’s not allow the enemy to steal our righteousness, peace and joy during this season! His joy is our strength!
