Jesus commands us, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matt. 22:37-39) But I have found it is often easier to love the Lord than to love our neighbor, even our Christian neighbor.
I want to plead with my Christian brothers and sisters to walk in sensitivity and love with those in the body of Christ who may see things differently than you. Here in America, I know sincere believers in Christ who have a God-given call to focus on protecting the unborn, and other sincere believers in Christ with a God-given call to focus on embracing the disenfranchised. But sometimes we find ourselves at odds with each other. And in our passion to share our deep convictions, we can end up condemning each other. This should not be. In humility, let us all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. (James 1:19)
Let’s sit together in humility and listen to one another. We need to share heart-to-heart our convictions, our fears and our deep concerns. We must connect on a heart level. If we do not do this, we end up judging each other’s hearts and condemning one another.
Romans 14:4 tells us; “Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval.” This must be our posture.
Let’s make a decision to walk in love. We cannot allow the enemy to manipulate us to judge one another’s hearts, but instead stand together against the enemy of our souls. “So why do you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.” (Romans 14:10)

i agree that we are in no place to condemn anyone. we should give anyone another chance and only allow God to judge people. We must remember that in the dreamworks masterpeice even Shrek gave donkey a second chance so if even a green ogre can so can we.

Great comment Rev. George Ludisi!
That is certainly an aspect of our faith that many will forget, with too many Christians neglecting their neighbour. Simply praying or reading Larrys blog is not enough to truly love God, you have to step up and love the one you’re with.
How do you love God?
Love your neighbour
Great comment from a great man.
