We came back from our two-month sabbatical yesterday. It is great to be back! During the past few months we were privileged to take time to rest and be refreshed, we had good times with the LORD, and we really enjoyed our time with our family!

Tomorrow I leave for a ministry trip to Malaysia and Myanmar, imparting biblical truths to believers from various Asian nations. Thanks for praying.

If you are going through a difficult time today, remember this one truth: death always leads to a resurrection! But the truth be told: it is usually really hard to see this when we walk through difficult times. Remember, our God is the “Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God” (II Cor. 1:3-4).

Let’s take a moment today to focus on the LORD’s faithfulness, comfort and compassion. Receive His comfort and grace for today. Tomorrow may be your day to comfort someone else.
